So, i decided to update the OS on the server hosting my hub. The VPS didn't like the update, and it refused to boot.
Rather than getting support involved, I decided to rebuild my hub (since I had just made a fresh backup).
After getting everything set up again, my hub would
receive new posts from people, but wouldn't send them. There would be a long list sitting in the queue which would not go away.
After a quick search of the Hubzilla support forum, I found a
post containing a solution that worked.
Issuing the command
util/config system curl_ssl_ciphers '' fixed everything, and the queue quickly emptied out.
