Digital RealmsHeard some good things about
Magic: The Gathering Arena, so I checked it out tonight.
I am an old MTG player. I got into the card game with Revised edition, and stayed until Ice Age. I like the approach that Arena is taking. Once you complete the tutorial, you get five complete decks. Beating bots and players nets you more cards and XP. There are daily quests ala Hearthstone, as well as a "talent tree" which unlocks cards and cosmetic card backgrounds. You can build decks with the cards you have, once you have gained enough.
My daughter installed it as well. I tried to teach her the card game when she was younger, but it was a bit too much. So far, we both find it enjoyable and will probably be logging here and there as a casual time waster.
