Spend a few hours today processing wood for my bathroom vanity. It is 120 year old flooring, so there are three layers of paint on it. I was able to remove it at a reasonable speed using a paint removing wheel attached to my drill. An angle grinder would have been faster, but I hate buying tools that would probably be used once.
After removing all the old paint, I used a hand plane to clean up the board edges so I could join several planks into a slabs that will be used for the vanity sides. This is the second time I have done this, and I am improving a bit. The last few edges I joined went much faster.
Next, I need to take apart my table saw, as it seems to have died. With luck, it will just be a capacitor on the motor.
