Yeesh, last post was over 8 months ago :-!
I intended to write up my experiences with cowering in place due to Corona. However, there is nothing really to write about. The whole event has been... Well.. Uneventful.
In the last 8 months, I have changed employers. The company I was working for was purchased by larger company. Which worked out in my favor, because they covered our full wages and insurance for the three months my area was locked down. I ended up only needing to use unemployment benefits for two weeks.
I used the time off to finish remodeling one bathroom, and to start tearing into a second. I also built a media server running Jellyfin, and have ripped every DVD and Blu-ray in the house.
I started an online Python class, but have found it difficult to stay motivated. I think this is because I don't have a clear idea I'd what I would use Python for.
